2200 7th October All households now connected. Work continues outside RHS.

0800 7th October Anglian Water’s report the repair is proving more difficult than they hoped. Latest estimate is back to normal by 1200 hours 7th October. Bottled water has been provided and can be collected from the school. The School is closed today.
1730 6th October Anglian Water are advising they expect to have customers connected to mains water by 2200 hours this evening (6th October). Their website gives the latest and includes telephone numbers for anyone having difficulties whether or not individuals are on their Priority Services Register.
1300 6th October – ANOTHER NEW LEAK AND FLOODED ROAD This time on Holbrook Road, outside the road entrance to Alton Water. Will update this site with any traffic / access issues this causes.
2000 hours 5th October – Road remains closed. It has not proved to be possible to safely keep the road open outside of Anglian Water’s working hours so the closure with diversions and replacement shuttle buses will continue during this first phase. Stutton Parish Council is in regular contact with the site manager from Anglian Water and any changes will appear on this site as a news update.
1830 hours 29 September – Road is closed. Please remain safe and obey the road closure.
1750 hours 28 September – Road is closed.
