Having lived in Stutton for over 30 years Ian Kemsley should know a thing or two about the village. A family man who proudly boasts that his son attended Stutton Primary School and his three grandchildren were at Stutton Nursery and in fact the youngest is still there. With a wealth of experience in the world of finance in both private and public sector, Ian has significant management experience which will make him a huge asset to the Council. He is no stranger to volunteering either, having been Treasurer of both the Stutton Community Council and the Almshouses and on the Parochial Church Council of St Peter’s plus volunteering at the Community Shop during the Pandemic. The current chair, Mike Hems commented “I am really excited to have Ian on our team and am looking forward to working with him. In fact he has already been put to work to co-ordinate the investigations into the recent burst water main and help us lobby Anglian Water to make Stutton a priority for replacement of ageing underground pipes.”
